What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Specialist position at Noble Federal Credit Union?
Summary: Under general supervision, supports the credit union’s community impact, financial wellness, and brand presence efforts. Coordinates and attends community and corporate events, delivers financial wellness presentations, manages inventory of marketing collateral, and promotes the Credit Union’s mission through strong brand representation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage inventory of brochures, promotional merchandise, and corporate-branded attire; ensure timely restocking, distribution, and related communications. Coordinate with stakeholders and partners to ensure updates are made timely.
Organize and participate in various community events and internal corporate events, including setup, tabling, materials preparation and day-of coordination. Track event participation, collateral usage, and community engagement metrics to support reporting and planning.
Develop and present engaging and informative financial education presentations to diverse audiences both in-person and virtually, for our Special Employer Groups (SEGs) and various community organizations.
Provide support to creates, schedule, and publish engaging content for various channels, including but not limited to, digital platforms and social media.
Supports various business development and marketing campaigns by assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of various marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and brand representation across all communication channels.
Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and innovation in marketing strategies.
Exercise awareness in regards to suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior as it relates to cash transactions and overall transaction activity and document and any such behavior so SAR filings can be considered.
Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and compliance programs including but not limited to BSA, AML, OFAC, Branch Security and Safety.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Associate’s degree (A.A. or A.S.) from a two-year college in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; or a minimum of three years’ experience in a marketing/communications role and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Credit union or financial institution experience preferred.
Typically works normal business hours but requires availability on weekends and before/after normal business hours for events.
This position allows for hybrid work after 90 days, which typically includes a combination of in-office and remote workdays each week. Hybrid work arrangements are subject to change at any time based on business needs. Employees may be required to report to the office as necessary.
