What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Baker position at Noble Pies?
Full time baker -
Reliable, conscientious person to work alongside head bakers and alone
making artisanal pies, cookies, and other baked goods. Must have
experience baking, measuring, following recipes. Job involves working with
large mixers, heavy trays, in a hot environment. This is not a public-facing
position.
Qualifications for this position include:
● 7:30-8AM start
● Standing/walking for duration of shift.
● Ability to lift heavy trays and bowls.
● Be able to work under pressure.
● Available to work extra hours if scheduled (usually for holidays_)
● Can work independently, following recipes and lists.
Job Functions include:
● Filling and assembling pies.
● Baking pies.
● Working with kitchen machinery and ovens.
● Clean all work surfaces, utensils and equipment.
● Keep floor clean of debris and spills.
● Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
