Title - Desktop Support

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Level 1 Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. The role is responsible for providing first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of desktop technologies, and a passion for delivering excellent end-user support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Assist with user account management, including password resets and access provisioning.
- Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2/3 support or appropriate IT teams as necessary.
- Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Provide remote support when required using remote desktop tools.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
- Support IT asset inventory and maintain proper documentation.
- Assist in deploying software updates and patches
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
