Job Summary:

Noetic Strategies is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support the Finance Department with Accounting functions. The Accounting Specialist will assist the Finance Department with a variety of functions including maintaining financial records and providing prompt responses to customers and vendors.

Individual is required to work a minimum of 40-hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process Invoices
• Update and track contract funding for invoice purposes
• Manage accounts payable and expense reimbursement
• Prepare Cost Reports
• Process incoming payments by check and ACH
• Organize and update accounting files
• Process Onboarding/Offboarding employees in software
• Assist with audit requests
• Generate monthly financial reports as requested

Minimum Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree or higher majoring in Accounting / Finance
• 2-4 years’ experience working with Government Contracts
• Exceptional time management, communication, and problem solving skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred
