What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse - Infusion position at Nola Infusion Company?
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and provide care for patients requiring infusion therapy
- Administer medications and treatments through various routes, including IV infusion
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their response to treatments
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their condition and treatment plan
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, catheter care, and gastric lavage as needed
- Utilize neonatal ventilators for patients requiring respiratory support
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) multi compact license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in infusion therapy or a related field
- Proficient in performing diagnostic evaluations and providing care for patients with complex medical conditions
- Strong knowledge of physiology, including cardiac catheterization procedures
- Experience with neonatal ventilators and infant care is preferred
- Ability to phlebotomize and perform IV infusions accurately and safely
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
