Direct Mail Lettershop Mechanic
Job Summary:
The Mechanics job is to set up, maintain and repair mailing equipment. This is a hands-on position where you will be directly involved with the day-to-day maintenance, setup, and repair work.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair mailing equipment

Responsible for making sure maintenance is performed

Keep machines up and running for operators at all times
Required Skills/Abilities:
-
Strong mechanical capabilities.
-
Some electrical skills required
-
Creative and resourceful trouble shooting skills

Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment

Prior hands-on experience with Pitney Bowes, Blue Crest or Bell & Howell inserters is a must.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Prior hands-on experience with Pitney Bowes, Blue Crest or Bell & Howell inserters is a must.

At least five years of related experience required.

Working knowledge of the following additional equipment and manufactures: Tabbers, MBO folders, GBR sheet feeders, Inkjets, Strappers, Stampers, Motors a plus
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods standing.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
