The Surgical Services Coordinator supports a variety of surgical procedures and emphasizes teamwork and ongoing professional development. This role requires completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience, as well as current BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Support surgeons and other healthcare professionals during procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Stay up-to-date with latest medical technologies and techniques.
Requirements
- 5 consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech or LPN with 1 year surgical tech experience.
- National Certification is highly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to be maintained for duration of employment.
