Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of insurance products, and the ability to negotiate effectively with clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Analyze client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with underwriters to secure the best coverage for clients.
- Provide expert guidance on benefits administration and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop strategies for market penetration and account growth.
- Conduct regular account reviews and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
Experience
- Proven experience in insurance sales, preferably in commercial lines.
- Strong background in benefits administration and knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and recommend solutions.
- Effective negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
- Experience in outside sales or retail sales is a plus.
- NYS insurance license
- 5 plus years experience a must
