What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Norstar Accolade Property Managment?
We are currently seeking a Full- Time Assistant Manager for Affordable Housing property that is 95 units In Tarpon Springs, Florida. The ideal candidate will have Tax Credit experience and RAD Experience a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparation of leases and other application forms
- Unit inspections and building inspections
- Ensure collection and deposit of all resident payments
- Ensure all residency files are maintained accordingly
- Effectively represent the company in community activities with the property
- Generate recertification letters LIHTC Programs
- Fully prepare and complete annual recertifications for all residents within assigned portfolio.
- Correspond with tenants and other departments to ensure recerts and move-ins are processed in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Must be capable of overseeing multiple functions simultaneously, with a keen sense of prioritization
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to details strong verbal and written community skill.
10. Some type of formal training in the following areas:
a. Knowledge and experience with YARDI software or similar software
b. Fair Housing Laws
c. Rent Collection and recording keeping
