Location: Muscle Shoals Plant
Reviews, analyzes, monitors, and reports on manufacturing and customer data to support Manufacturing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Tracks manufacturing plan versus actual performance, reasons for missed plans, and associatedperformance improvement countermeasures.
- Audits Manpower plan versus actual for each shift, escalates variances, tracks reasons andcountermeasure for systemic variances to the plan.
- Participate in Impact and Kaizen activities, as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Education & Experience: Meets one of the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, M.I.S. or arelated discipline, plus 0 to 2 years of related experience in related manufacturing functions; OR
- Associate degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, M.I.S. or arelated discipline, plus 2 to 4 years of related experience in related manufacturing functions; OR
- HS Diploma or GED, plus 4 to 6 years of related experience in related manufacturing functions
- Strong Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities in the following areas:
- Knowledge and understanding of JIT manufacturing systems
- Knowledge and understanding of NAL manufacturing capabilities
- Organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills
- Data Acquisition, analysis, and reporting skills
- Computer skills — proficient in standard business software with advanced skills in MS Excel(spreadsheets and graphs) and MS Access (tables and queries)
- Written and verbal communications and presentation skills
- Interpersonal skills — to confidently interact with individuals at all levels of authority and to maintaincomposure in stressful and/or sensitive situations
