Intern - Software Engineer
We have exciting internship opportunities for Software Engineering and Computer Engineering students. As an Intern for the Software Engineering Team, you will design and develop GUI-based programs for Windows, Linux, Embedded Linux, and VxWorks operating systems for military and commercial aerospace applications. Summer Internships are full-time (40 hours/week) and Winter Break is part-time (20 hours/week).

Assist in the design and development of GUI-based test programs that interface with test equipment such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
This Internship is for Fall 2024
Flexible schedules for Part Time Fall, Winter and Spring Internships.

Requirements
Essential Role and Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of GUI-based test programs that interface with test equipment such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
- Contribute to the development of applications and software libraries to support NAI board products for Windows, Linux and VxWorks operating systems
- At least 60 Credits toward a Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree with embedded software development, preferably embedded Linux and VxWorks
- One year of engineering and/or programming experience a plus
- Understanding of software engineering, procedural and object-oriented programming concepts
- Some knowledge of C, C , C#, GUI programming, Object-Oriented design and programming, TCP/UDP Ethernet Programming, Windows and Linux
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and posses a high degree of curiosity and desire to learn new things
- Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
