What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Technician position at North Caddo Medical Center?
Purpose of your job position:
The Environmental Technician is responsible for sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and waxing all rooms and halls; empty all trash cans; scrubs emergency room, floors, walls and equipment in surgery and attends to the needs of the male patients assigned by his/her supervisor. Assist in the orientation of new employees when required. They will follow hospital policy and procedures. Additional job duties or functions, not related to Environmental Service, may be requested per administration to assist in other areas of the hospital within their capabilities.

Compliant with all regulations as listed in the North Caddo Medical Center employee handbook. Follow all Policy and Procedures in the Nursing Service Manual. Must review policy and procedure yearly. Follow job description outline.
Follow the proper chain of command.

Keeps absenteeism and tardiness at a minimum.
Performs additional duties as requested by the Supervisor.

Reliable, dependable and trustworthy. Able to complete jobs with supervision.
Sweeps, mops, scrub, waxes all rooms and halls as instructed by his/her supervisor.

Attends to the needs of the male patients.
