Description
The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant is responsible for professionally and courteously answering multi-line phone, directing and responding to inquiries appropriately. They are also responsible to greet public and provide clerical and physical support to the department as well as assisting the director with any duties assigned.
Requirements
- Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for the job title and the assignment's unit/area(s).
- Excellent communication skills, including oral and written comprehension/expression.
- Ability and willingness to work with patients’ growth and development needs particularly related to the age of patients in the unit/area(s) of assignment.
- Ability to manage a challenging work environment related to changing patient needs, including working with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes, and those who are dying.
