Position Overview
| Primary Purpose of Position | This position serves as an employment consultant for all matters associated with the recruitment, screening, and selection approval of SHRA and EHRA non-faculty employees. A primary responsibility of this role will be to provide professional consultation and training on recruitment policies, procedures, and best practices to campus managers engaged in the process of hiring employees in these classifications. This position will be instrumental in building our professional and support staff workforce and maintaining compliance to all federal, state, and university system employment policies. This individual will be responsible for working closely with other HR Managers and Consultants in Class and Comp and Employee Relations to ensure that recruitment efforts align with the University's vision, mission, and strategic goals. The Talent Solutions Consultant will work with the Talent Solutions Manager and departmental hiring managers in planning, developing, and implementing recruiting strategies. This position will be responsible for the refinement of hiring processes and work flows to support operational efficiency. The position will collaborate with Talent Solutions team members to evaluate and streamline processes and develop innovative recruitment strategies to create diverse high-quality candidate pools based on current and future University needs. |
