ABOUT US
The North Carolina Courage, a member of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), is seeking a Partnership Sales Coordinator to join our team. We hire people who help us work smarter, sharper, and more Courageous and this position works closely with Partnership Managers and Directors and contributes to long-term revenue growth through disciplined execution, strong communication, and professional brand representation.

The Partnership Sales Coordinator is responsible for high-volume outbound prospecting, qualified meeting setting, and pipeline development in support of the Corporate Partnerships team.  The right person will be driven, organized, and results-oriented with outbound sales or business development experience who thrives in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment and is passionate about sports, community impact, and brand partnerships. 

This role reports to the Sr, Director Corporate Partnerships.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:   
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified partnership meetings 
  • Research and qualify local and regional brand prospects aligned with team partnership objectives 
  • Book, confirm, and properly hand off discovery meetings to Corporate Partnerships leadership 
  • Maintain accurate CRM records including activity tracking, notes, and pipeline status 
  • Support proposal development and presentations 
  • Collaborate with Partnership Managers on category strategy and prospect prioritization 
  • Mentor Partnership Sales Interns, including call coaching and daily direction 
  • Represent the North Carolina Courage brand with professionalism and credibility in all communications 
  • Meet or exceed individual activity, meeting, and pipeline contribution goals 

QUALIFICATIONS:   
Required Skills & Experience 
  • 2–5 years of experience in outbound sales, sponsorship sales, partnerships, or business development 
  • Proven success with cold calling, meeting setting, and lead qualification 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence 
  • Experience engaging mid-level to senior decision-makers (Owners, CMOs, Marketing Directors, VPs) 
  • Ability to identify business needs and connect them to partnership solutions 
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up discipline 
  • CRM experience with consistent activity tracking 
  • Resilience, coachability, and comfort working in a performance-driven environment 

Preferred Skills & Experience
 
  • Experience in sports sponsorship, media sales, or experiential marketing 
  • Understanding of brand marketing, sponsorship ROI, and community engagement 
  • Experience supporting interns 
  • Familiarity with women’s sports, soccer, or live event marketing
