Resumes are being accepted for a part-time Resident Coordinator at the North Central Indiana Rural Crisis Center. The Crisis Center is a shelter for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The Resident Coordinator position is responsible for answering the crisis hotline, managing client safety, providing a listening ear to clients, leading support groups, light housekeeping, and documenting any activities/services provided. Additionally, all staff members are expected to maintain client confidentiality.
Although each staff member is trained upon hire, prior professional experience in the fields of domestic violence, sexual assault, mental health, and/or substance abuse treatment is strongly preferred.
The Crisis Center runs 24/7, so adherence to our attendance policy is mandatory.
A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
The schedule for this position is 4p-10p, specific days will be discussed during interview process.
