Position Description

Perform routine custodial and maintenance duties.

• Serves as a member of the Fleet Operations maintenance team; pre and post trips vehicles, collecting debris and equipment; performs fleet interior and exterior vehicle cleaning.
• Fuels or charges vehicles.
• Acts as a "shuttling" driver to relocate buses and other District vehicle inventory to needed to service sites or to deliver to maintenance locations.
• Assists as a mechanic helper; provides hands-on help to mechanics engaged in complex operations.
• Washes and cleans buses as needed
• Observes and complies with all District and mandated safety rules, regulations, and protocols.
