Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Member Services Representative. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working at a financial institution, possess the ability to mentor/train less experienced team members, be fluent in both Spanish and English, enjoy helping members, and possess excellent communication skills.
Our Member Services Representatives are key members of the North Coast team with responsibilities including:
- Providing exceptional customer service to members in person, over the phone, and through email
- Assisting members with account inquiries, transactions, and problem resolution
- Educating members on credit union products and services
- Processing loan applications and opening new accounts
- Maintaining accurate member records and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions

Pay Range (depending on level of experience):
- Member Service Representative 3 - $20.41 - $26.53
- Member Service Representative Sr - $23.80 – $30.94
Requirements
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working at a financial institution
- The ability to convey financial terminology in Spanish and English (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Solid organizational skills and be detail-oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- An interest and ability in mentoring/training less experienced team members
- The ability to obtain NMLS Registration and Notary license required within 90 days
- Ability to travel to multiple branches in Whatcom and Skagit counties
This position is full-time, approximately 40 hours per week. The schedule is generally Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. This position will report to the Dupont Branch in Bellingham, WA but will float to NCCU branches as needed to serve our members.
