Summary of the Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA):
Services provided by the Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) shall be performed within the scope of practice.
- Must be able to communicate and respond clearly via telephone and respond to patient's needs.
- Ensure HIPAA guidelines and procedures and maintained.
- Perform evaluation and assessments.
- Must be currently licensed in the state of Florida.
- Valid CPR card
- Must have all documentation up to date: professional license, driver's license, CPR, CEU's, Physical, and background check (ACHA).
