Starting pay range is $22.89 depending upon experience and certifications. This opening will remain open until filled.

Major Duties
- Uses a variety of hand tools such as wrenches, screw drivers, and shovels.
- Repairs and maintains sewer lines and manholes;
- Responds to and participates in emergency calls.
- Operates vehicles in the performance of duties or to attend training programs.
- CCTV Inspections.

Requirements
- One (1) year of experience in collections systems maintenance/underground construction and/or mechanical maintenance.
- Graduation from high school or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain Utah Grade II Wastewater Collection System Operator within the first eighteen (18) months of employment.
- Ability to obtain a valid State of Utah Class B Commercial Driver’s License with endorsements for air brakes and tank vehicle within 120 days of hire.
- Employee will receive training opportunities to obtain other certifications as required by the DISTRICT.
Physical Demands
Will work in adverse weather conditions that require exposure to wind, rain, and cold temperatures and an environment that often involves noxious odors, noise, gases, and contact with wastewater. Ability to fit through a manhole. Ability to lift 100 pounds.
Available and able to respond seven days a week, 24 hours a day for system emergencies as needed.
