Production Supervisor

Position Summary:

We are currently looking for a Production Floor Supervisor to lead a team of Production associates of a fast-paced laundry plant. Daily duties include monitoring efficiencies, safety, production flow and material costs. Additional responsibilities include motivating, training, and directing Production Associates as well as entry-level hourly production workers. This is a non-union position, with the ability for career advancement.

Essential Functions:

· Manage production associates.

· Manage production standards.

· Manage production schedule that delivers product when needed.

· Manage product control program to minimize loss - Clean Return audits - Load out.

· Manage Safety & Health Program - ensure full compliance with all OSHA regulations.

· Maintain high associate approval ratings.

Experience:

· 2-5 years plant management experience preferred.

· Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

· Strong organizational and verbal communications skills.

· Computer literate, general PC applications. Excel a plus.

· Excellent leadership, interpersonal, motivational, and customer service skills.

· Food & Beverage industry experience a plus.

Knowledge & Skills:

· A high school diploma or GED.

· The ability to handle physical requirements, including but not limited to, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting.

· Previous experience working in a fast-paced production union environment a plus.

· Familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations.

· Ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures and conditions seasonally.

· Safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds when necessary.

· Remain standing/walking for extended amounts of time daily.

· Ability to multitask and provide “out of box” solutions.
