General Summary:
Responsible for assisting the daily operations of the Human Resources Department by participating in proactive recruitment, conducting new hire orientation, and maintaining effective professional communication. This position will also include assisting various department in planning and implementing various training programs, handling employee relations and exit procedures.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes for multiple departments.
- Prepare and Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
- Provide support as needed to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves, PTO, compensation and assist in the resolution any questions or concerns that may arise.
- Promote open communication trust with staff and managers to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
- Maintain employee files and records, updating both physical and electronic copies as needed.
- Help the Human Resources Manager ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations.
- Act as a liaison of the Human Resources Department while Manager is out of office.
- All other duties assigned by Manager or CEO.

Qualifications/Education and Experience
- Preferred 1 year of experience in a related field. (Recruitment, Administrative, Human Resources)
- Preferred AA Degree or current enrollment in related field
- Ability to write, type, and speak in a professional manner
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Physical Requirements
- Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to read emails, documents, reports, etc.
- Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with other staff, clients, vendors, etc.
- Standing/Walking: Must be able to move about the office, including up and down stairs
- Climbing/stooping/kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up small items, file documents, etc.
- Lifting/pulling/pushing: Minimal lifting required in this position
