North Reading Middle School is seeking a long-term substitute Math Teacher from November 6, 2023 -February 2, 2024. North Reading Public Schools is actively looking to build a diverse workforce to ensure all students feel welcome, safe, and valued for who they are and supported to reach their potential.
Essential duties
- Unit/lesson planning
- Direct instruction of students
- Assessment of student learning
- Be available to conference with parents and families as needed or requested
- Work closely with our Math content team to ensure pacing and learning expectations are maintained
- Other duties as requested by the Building Principal
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education teaching license in Math, grades 5-8
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Collaborative working demeanor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
