North Star Cantina is seeking a reliable Smoked Meat Producer to prepare smoked meats for ready-to-sell products. This role is paid per pound, not hourly, and is ideal for someone already set up for smoking meats who can produce consistently and deliver on a regular schedule.
This is a production role, not a restaurant or chef position.
Production & Delivery
- Smoked meats produced off-site
- Delivery to North Star Cantina daily or every other day, based on agreed schedule
- Quantities and cuts coordinated in advance
- Products must meet agreed quality and consistency standards

Compensation

Responsibilities
- Smoke meats according to agreed specifications and standards
- Maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and yield
- Deliver products on time and as scheduled
- Follow all food safety, handling, and storage requirements
- Package products appropriately for service and/or retail use
- Communicate clearly regarding availability, production, and delivery timing
Requirements
- Experience smoking meats
- Access to your own smoker and production setup
- Ability to produce consistent, repeatable results
- Reliable transportation for delivery
- Must comply with applicable food safety and licensing requirements
- Dependable and professional
