Grocery Freight Clerk
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Overnight Freight Employee to join our team. As an Overnight Freight Employee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store during non-business hours. Your primary responsibilities will include facing the store, working loads/backstock, organizing backrooms, and completing miscellaneous cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy and organized environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Facing Store:** Ensure that products are neatly arranged and shelves are fully stocked, providing a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
2. **Working Loads/Backstock:** Unload delivery trucks, sort merchandise, and stock shelves with new inventory. Efficiently manage backstock inventory to optimize space utilization.
3. **Organizing Backrooms:** Maintain cleanliness and organization in the backroom storage areas. Arrange products and supplies in designated storage locations for easy accessibility.
4. **Miscellaneous Cleaning Tasks:** Perform various cleaning duties, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces throughout the store as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed.
