What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at North Texas Winwater?
The Warehouseman’s primary responsibility is to ensure that all incoming material is accurately counted, identified, documented and stored; and to work with all company personnel to ensure quality customer service.
Job is outside and in a warehouse in the heat or cold, rain and shine. It is a physically intensive job.
All the material handled is heavy and forklifts are required. CDL license would be a plus to help deliver material too.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Comply with all established procedures for receiving inventory.
· Examine all incoming shipments, record shortages, overages, damages or any discrepancies on receiving documentation and obtain signature of the carrier. Identify damaged freight and communicate with credit department.
· Direct the handling and placement of material received to their proper location.
· Coordinate with the appropriate product department in the disposition of special orders. Learn and understand basic data systems functions in order to work effectively on follow-up work regarding errors, exceptions, etc.
· Preplan the receipt of incoming shipment to facilitate placement, labor and equipment required.
· Maintain a well-organized, safeguarded, clean, and bin located warehouse and yard.
· Communicate with the Warehouse Manager on potential inventory needs and gaps in fill rates.
· Monitor obsolete and slow moving inventory and communicate ideas for minimizing.
· Complete mandatory training courses for Warehouse position.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
