Prompts safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem solving skills2. Fades prompts appropriately to promote both successful and independent responding3. Increases the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors by providing access to reinforcers (desired items / actions, attention, or removal of demands / aversive situations)4. Accurately collects behavior data including : A-B-C, frequency, duration, latency, inter-response time, event, and interval based recording5. Follows the treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment and seeks out appropriate consultation6. Collaborates with family and Team members to implement programming effectively and without disruption to the environment or other individuals in the environment7. Educate parents on reinforcement and early intervention information8. Educates all those involved about the role of ABA-based interventions and the RBT, and functions within boundaries of the RBT role in providing services9. Reassessment as appropriate10. Sets up assistive technology for student use11. Participates in weekly training / consultation, as required12. Reinforces previously taught concepts in a one-on-one or small group setting13. Communicates with liaison regarding progress of students14. Documents student progress both academically and behaviorally15. Accompanies students to general education classroom, and related services as needed; and provides modifications to instruction16. Ensures safety of students as they use adaptive equipment17. Assists with self-help skills, including but not limited to clothing, feeding, toileting18. Supports students within the community and a at job sites19. Participates in student progress meetings when requested, and provides input for progress reports and objectives; informs appropriate staff of program changes and updates20. Completes parent communication logs and district documents as required21. Participates in required professional development, such as restraint training, CPR / First Aid certification, and staff meetings and extended day sessions22. Demonstrates flexibility when daily schedules change23. Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum programs and modifications, including but not limited to augmentative communication devices, task analysis, and discrete trial materials24. Maintains students' program books, including but not limited to organizing assessments, documenting programmatic changes, and conducting reinforcement assessments25. Implements instructional and behavioral programs as designed by the BCBA26. Uses ABA procedures to conduct and amend student programs and record appropriate data in pull-out and inclusion settings. This includes, but is not limited to, discrete trial training, social stories, and social skills training27. Models ABA techniques and provide support for other staff as requested by the BCBA28. Conducts data collection at all stages of skill acquisition29. Maintains student specific materials, reinforcers, and programming in a neat and orderly manner30. Participates in and maintains restraint training31. Perform other related tasks or duties as assigned by the BCBA, Building Principals, and / or Director of Pupil Personnel Services
