What are the responsibilities and job description for the RADIOGRAPHER /SEASONAL position at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center Health System?
SEASONAL - 8 to 13 week Contract
Reports to Imaging Supervisor. Under general direction, performs common Diagnostic Radiographic images, assist Radiologist in fluoroscopy imaging to aid in the diagnosis of disease, and performs imaging services in operative and semi-operative procedures. Processes exposed film, critiques images, and prepares studies for Radiologist interpretation. Cleans imaging equipment and maintains imaging supplies for procedures.
Preforms quality diagnostic imaging studies in all patient settings using proper technical imaging factors.
Preforms quality diagnostic imaging studies observing Radiation Protection Standards.
Provides for patient comfort, privacy, and safety.
Administers Radiographic contrast and/or pharmaceuticals according to policy.
Maintains patient records.
Graduation from an AMA Approved Radiologic Technology School.
Completion of all required Clinical Competencies from an AMA Approved Radiologic Technology School

Employment Type: full-time Shift: evenings/nights Hours: 7on-7off/7p-7a/every other weekend
