Shift: Sunday-Thursday 9pm-6am

This candidate will be responsible for managing all duties related to the Cross Dock operation in Lawrence MA, Concord NH, and Dover NH.
Essential Functions
- Manage the drivers in Lawrence, Concord, and Dover
- Ensuring trucks are loaded and leave on time.
- Responsible to hire, train, and develop direct reports
- Stay updated with compliance and DOT Regulations.
- Responsible for all equipment, trucks, and related preventative maintenance schedules and assist remote branches with their vehicles/drivers.
- Monitor scheduled daily deliveries and ensure customer time commitments are met.
- Responsible for KPI’s on Photo Compliance, planned vs actuals, lost in shipments, missed deliveries, branch transfers and missed time commitments
- Work with Shop Steward on Union contract issues.
- Other projects/duties as assigned by Regional Transportation Manager and VP of Operations.
- 3 to 5 years prior experience managing Union Drivers and solid knowledge of contractual bargaining agreement is required.
- Ability to organize and multitask.
- Product knowledge is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong knowledge of Fleet Maintenance.
- Understanding and experience with GPS tracking.
- Prior Management experience
