What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bounce House Delivery Driver position at Northeast Florida Party Rentals?
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting, setting up, and ensuring the safety of bounce houses, slides, and other inflatable attractions. Collaborate with an additional worker to complete tasks efficiently. Pick up, inspect and clean all rental units after use.
Our primary work days are Friday through Monday. The daily schedule fluctuates depending on the amount of deliveries we have each day but typically ranges from 7-10 hours per day. We are usually the busiest on Fridays and Sundays.
Duties:
- Safely drive company vehicles to deliver inflatable rentals to customers
- Load and unload inflatables from the vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proficient in pulling a 16ft trailer
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Motorized dolly operation experience is a plus
