What are the responsibilities and job description for the Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position at Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc.?
We have an opening in South Dennis, MA., for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 2 years of emergency medicine or 3 years’ experience in high volume urgent care, which includes the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients. In the center, you will: examine and treat urgent care patients, ensure proper injury care, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery; prescribe and administer medication; request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists, as necessary.
Our centers are open (7) days per week 8AM to 8PM. Full-time positions must be able to work three/four 12-hour shifts per week (84 hour biweekly) including every other weekend.

- Provide 5-star patient care; We love our patients, and we want you too as well, will provide exceptional patient care in a fast paced and fluid work environment
- Experience with EHR systems (Medical Records) occupational health, emergency room and family practice procedures
- Able to use necessary medical equipment: EKG, nebulizer, etc.
- A current NP or PA License in one of our urgent care states, in which you are applying
- Must be credentialed to see patients of all ages
- Active DEA license with no restrictions
- Current DOT certification or ability to become certified
