As a Residential Services Manager at Northeast Residential Services, you will be a leader in serving adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities across diverse settings. The Residential Services Manager oversees multiple shared living and residential programs along with managing Direct Support Professionals, Team Leads, and Shared Living Providers. The Residential Services Manager requires leadership skills and experience to implement services within multiple service regulations while building teams and fostering growth. The Residential Services Manager ensures that services are delivered in accordance with state and federal regulations, licensing, and NRS standards, while promoting a culture that supports health, safety, and empowerment within the NRS mission.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Creates and manages employee schedules to meet required census while controlling overtime
- Utilizes Paycom to manage timecards, PTO, expenses, and meet payroll deadlines
- Reviews service implementation notes in Therap daily for quality, content, and confirmation of billable services daily
- Ensures the implementation of client PCP goals and conducts service planning with residents
- Attends service planning meetings and creates service expectations plans in Evergreen
- Ensure timely required reporting in Therap, for the reportable events process in Evergreen and to APS and licensing as required
- Conducts in program orientation for new staff members
- Conducts the employee review process
- Performs monthly program audits for residential programs Responsible for quality assurance ensure a corrective plan for deficiencies
- Serve as a lead for state licensing and HCBS audits
- Conducts monthly staff meetings
- Conducts monthly visits and home inspections for shared living providers
- Maintains compliance documents for shared living
- Assists with training and onboarding shared living providers
- Responds to and creates vendor calls for service recipients in shared living and residential services
- Provide direct support care as needed
- Provides on-call support to programs 24/7 Monday 8 am through Friday 4 pm; provides on call support on a rotating basis from Friday 4 pm to Monday 8 am.
Essential Job Requirements:
- A minimum of one year managing and developing shared living services under Mainecare Benefits Manual section 21/29
- Management experience of Maine licensed residential care facilities and under Mainecare Benefits Manual section 21
- Valid Maine driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle that is registered and insured
- Clean driving record
- Ability to read, write and communicate proficiently in the English Language
- Ability to lift/push/pull 50lbs.
- Ability to work on holidays and during inclement weather
- DSP Certified and/or willingness to complete DSP training curriculum mandated by the State of Maine.
