We are headquartered in Fairfield, NJ and have expanded our business throughout the Northeast region. Whether you are looking for a position on our sales team or in our service department, you will be trained and educated on all aspects of our products and overall business of the sweeper industry.
Northeast Sweepers and Rentals, Inc. is looking to hire equipment sales representatives to service our territories which include western and central New York. Candidate must be willing to travel to cities, municipalities and DPW's within their territory for demonstrations of equipment and deliveries upon sale of equipment. This role will require consistent communication with customers and prospects being the point of contact for their needs, requests, questions and concerns. You will also be required to generate, update and report any leads to the sales team directly with an informative prospect analysis. Equipment sales training will be provided as well as marketing assistance.
You must be comfortable working with and demonstrating our machines to a to prospects involved in the industry. We provide extensive training and support for our products and services. Responsibilities
Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.Report and Generate leads directly to sales team weeklyPerform equipment demonstrationsServe as an informative representative the company for customers and prospectsTravel to municipalities and DPWs of cities in your territoryFocuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealersKeeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Qualifications
