Registered Nurse – Emergency Services
Location: Elko, NV | Full-Time, Various Shifts (Days, Mid, Nights)
About the Role:
Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is hiring passionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department team. If you're ready to make a meaningful difference in a fast-paced, rural hospital environment—this is your opportunity! You’ll work in a 15-bed ER, seeing 65 patients per day on average, with a 1:5 patient ratio and 12-hour shifts.
Whether you're an early riser or a night owl, we offer flexible scheduling including Days, Midshift, and Night options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-focused care in our 15-bed Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with 2–4 RNs and ED physicians in a high-acuity environment.
- Triage, assess, and stabilize patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
Requirements:
- Current Nevada RN license – Required
- BLS certification – Within 14 days of hire
- ACLS certification – Within 30 days of hire
- PALS certification – Within 90 days of hire
- TNCC – Within 6 months of hire
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) – Required
- Prior critical care or ED experience – Preferred
