We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine oral health status and treatment needs
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques
Experience
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical documentation practices
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and anatomy knowledge is essential
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is required
- Ability to perform root canal therapy and other complex procedures is an asset
