About the Position
We are currently seeking a full-time Test, Adjust, and Balance (TAB) Technician to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in ensuring HVAC systems operate efficiently, safely, and according to design specifications. No prior TAB experience is required. Individuals looking to change careers or recent graduates of Middle College programs, Associate Degree trade programs and Veterans are encouraged to apply. We provide structured, hands-on training, with industry certification expected after one year of employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing, adjusting, and balancing of HVAC air and hydronic systems
- Collect and document airflow and system performance data
- Work on commercial and industrial job sites across the Upper Peninsula
- Read mechanical drawings and follow project specifications
- Use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment (training provided)
- Accurately document field work in industry-specific software, including configuration and generation of project reports.
- Safely climb ladders and walk on roofs as required
- Work both independently and as part of a team
- Maintain a professional and safety-focused job site presence
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- Ability to travel throughout Michigan’s Upper Peninsula
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working on roofs
- Use of arial and scissor lifts. Training provided
- Ability to lift equipment and perform physical job tasks
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical skills
· Some post–high school education, certification, or degree in any field is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $19.50 - $23.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
