Physical Therapy Aide
Northern Michigan Sports Medicine Centers in Petoskey is looking for an energetic person to join our team as a full-time physical therapy aide/technician. This position is a great learning opportunity for anyone interested in going into the medical field - physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician, physician assistant, nursing, and athletic training. We treat a wide variety of orthopedic and sports injuries for all ages, providing a dynamic work and learning environment.
Candidate must be flexible in their weekly schedule, a multitasker, organized, be a productive proficient typist, and have ability to interact pleasantly with patients to ensure excellent customer service.
Experience in exercise instruction is preferred along with knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy. The job duties would include assisting fitness customers, orienting customers to equipment, teaching classes, cleaning equipment, and helping to maintain an upbeat, efficient clinical environment during treatments.
Job Type:35- 40 hrs per week
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Kinesiology or Exercise Science Degree or working toward a degree (Preferred)
