Job Summary
This position involves the processing of laboratory specimens and reporting of results in all areas of the clinical laboratory. The successful candidate will maintain laboratory records, follow laboratory policies and procedures, and maintain quality control practices in the Laboratory.
- Ability to function independently in all areas of the clinical laboratory: blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and serology/immunology and phlebotomy.
- Responsible for performing high-complexity testing.
- Aware of specific procedures for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient.
