This Supply Chain Supervisor opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient schedule.  This dynamic individual will be responsible for the operation of the procurement function of the department.  Maintains the computerized materials management system.  Assists Materials Management Director as necessary.  Attends all department meetings.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Reviews and edits department requisitions. Looks at non stock usage history reports to identify additions to storeroom inventory.
• Works as a liaison with the central purchasing office to resolve purchase order issues or concerns
• Contributes to the ongoing accuracy of the perpetual inventory by efficient utilization of Supply Chain techniques in purchasing, receiving and distribution. 
• Responsible for the conversion of products as dictated by GPO, UHS, local negotiations and the Value Analysis Committee.
• Assists in preparation of service contracts, bid procurements and quotation analysis. Analyzes materials or product literature sent to the medical center to continuously evaluate products, price trends, market conditions and vendor performance as a basis for future purchasing decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics or a related field is preferred.
• At least two (2) years of experience with the procurement function in the healthcare environment.
• 3-5 years supervisory experinece, and/or Hospital Supply Chain experience that includes oversight, analytic acumen, leading.
