General Maintenance

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled General Maintenance professional to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, fabrication, and maintenance practices, with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot various mechanical issues. You will be responsible for maintenance at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.
• Perform routine maintenance on building systems.
• Clean and assist with upkeep of the facilities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of carpentry, electrical, and mechanical theory.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain equipment and facilities in good working order.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and a time.
• Physically able to climb ladders, bend , or crawl in awkward spaces.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking required.
