We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in QuickBooks to join our dynamic team. As the Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial operations, with a primary focus on QuickBooks management and reporting. Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of QuickBooks software, including updating daily transactions, auditing receipts, credit card reconciliation, and accounts payable and receivable.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks.
- Perform PnL data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including cash flow, forecast, accounts receivable, and accounts payable reports.
- Oversee all bank accounts and credit card accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations.
- Process weekly payroll for salaried, hourly, and commissioned employees, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Handle subcontractor payouts and maintain necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and compile all required financial documents.
- Ensure timely depositing of accounts receivable.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3 years of CPA designation is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge and proficiency in QuickBooks software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with different departments.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certified Notary preferred but not required.
