Clinical Supervisor
Northpointe Council, Inc. is hiring a full-time (35 hours/week) Clinical Supervisor for the First Step Center; a 24-bed residential facility.
Our mission at Northpointe Council is to provide high quality person-centered prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery to those affected by substance use disorders and other addictions from the Greater Niagara Area.
Education
REQUIRED: Master’s degree AND Qualified Health Professional (QHP) Status, as defined by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) regulation.
Experience
Substance use treatment experience required, AND at least two years of full-time clinical supervision experience in the last five years.
The Clinical Supervisor has the responsibility for assisting with coordination, delegation and monitoring the all daily clinical operations including supervision, client care, front office operations, charting/documentation, policy/procedure compliance and other administrative duties as assigned.
Duties include but not limited to:
· Under the direction of the Vice President of Residential Services and in collaboration with the facility’s Nursing Supervisor, will monitor to ensure that all of the programs’ policies and procedures are being carried out.
· Provides consistent regular clinical supervision and documentation of such supervision for all assigned staff.
· Ensures all clinical documentation is in compliance with OASAS, DOH, DEA and other governing bodies.
· Maintains ongoing audit-readiness practices including, but not limited to, routine chart reviews and utilization reviews.
· Provides case management, individual counseling and group counseling as needed.
· Models compliance with NCI policies, OASAS, CARF, DOH, DEA, OMIG, Managed Care Organization and Commercial Insurances regulations.
· Executes all hiring and training of clinical staff in consultation with the Vice President of Residential Services.
· Provides as needed assistance to the Vice President of Residential Services with the coordination, facilitation and/or delegation of responsibility such as, but not limited to: program coverage, scheduling, admissions.
· Acts as the primary contact for clinical related matters including referrals and other service related requests.
· Actively participates in Quality Assurance Committee and Incident Review meetings.
· Assist Vice President in carrying out incident review recommendations and identified strategies for enhancing overall patient care.
