As a pharmacy technician at Northwest Health Services, you will be responsible for assisting Northwest Health Services Pharmacist by:
- Greeting and providing patients with excellent customer service and compassion.
- Receive patient demographics, prescription insurance, medical conditions and allergies, accurately entering all information into computer system.
- Ability to navigate and understand the POS (Point of Sale) computer system. Perform all cash register processes. Perform payment on account, voids, refunds, transaction retrieval, delivery posting, reconciliation of transaction, Pseudoephedrine tracking process, electronic signature capture for drugs dispensed, etc.
- Receive all forms of new prescription and refill prescription requests and enter into the computer system for processing of insurance claim, cash/discount pricing, prescription labeling and patient information sheets regarding prescribed medication.
- Must be able to count, pour and mix appropriately per prescription order. Package and label appropriately with pertinent documents for approval by the Pharmacist prior to dispensing to the patient.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- A valid driver’s license, and proof of active insurance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Required to become a registered technician with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
- Current CPR certification.
- We require vaccination against COVID-19 as a condition of employment & honor exemptions for medical and religious reasons to the extent required by law.
