What are the responsibilities and job description for the Winter Color Guard Instructor position at Northwest Local School District?
Position: Flag Corps Sponsor
Qualifications:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Active Teaching license or Student Monitor Permit.
3. Background in marching band auxiliary performance required.
4. Experience in the skills of the various sub groups of the color guard unit (e.g. flags, majorette) required.
5. Experience in composing and choreographing for the various color guard units required.
6. Experience working with school-aged students required; preferably at high school level.
7. Background in a drums corps or spirit organization preferred.
8. Background in instruction/adjudication of a drum corps or spirit organization preferred.
9. Blood-borne pathogens training.
Salary: Based on experience.
Date of Employment: 2025-26 School Year
