Now seeking part-time Advocate Coordinator for Henry County.
Advocate Coordinator provides professional support to CASA volunteers in their specific county, ensuring that the children involved with the CASA program receive sound advocacy and early permanency planning. The Advocate Coordinator is responsible for volunteer recruitment, supervision, and coordination of cases in their county to ensure effective and efficient performance. The Advocate Coordinator functions as a professional liaison in their specific county to court personnel, Children Services and other child serving agencies, Prosecutors and agency attorneys. The Advocate Coordinator may occasionally be asked to assist with fundraising events.
Court or child welfare experience preferred, but not required.
Northwest Ohio CASA is a non-profit organization that recruits and trains community volunteers to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect while involved in the Juvenile Court and Child Welfare system.
