Position: Business Development Coord/Rep
Position Summary:
This position works under the direction of the Director of Provider Relations and is part of a centralized
team responsible for provider relations and business development activities. The Coord/Rep works closely with operational leaders and
key stakeholders across the organization to discover and develop new business opportunities. This position will perform data analysis
using existing business applications to synthesize findings and define ‘Next Steps’ with the ultimate goal of developing new business,
capturing market share, and improving overall financial performance.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Develops customized ad hoc reports to answer a variety of business questions, including modeling volume projections
and determining the financial impact of certain initiatives
2. Constructs and maintains dashboards to monitor trends and/or variations in healthcare data
3. Pulls and integrates data from disparate sources (e.g. cost and claims or clinical data)
4. Delves into data to discover discrepancies and patterns, collaborating with management and internal teams to suggest
and evaluate improvements
5. Builds models that capture a wide range of health care operations, suggesting ways to both increase healthcare quality
and generate efficiencies
6. Prepares data for presentation materials as needed for department, leadership, and other internal partners
7. Updates operational dashboards for senior management review on monthly and quarterly basis
8. Gathers and updates critical Payer Strategies documents on ongoing basis
9. Prioritizes and organizes multi-faceted/multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast paced, changing environment
while meeting deadlines and turnaround time requirements
10. Successfully works independently both remotely and onsite. Demonstrates initiative, excellent organizational,
decision-making and multi-tasking skills
11. Fosters and maintains a collaborative and cooperative environment
12. Assists with financial and clinical analysis of value-based initiatives and contract modeling

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, information systems, or healthcare-related degree
- 2-4 years’ work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create and edit pivot tables, Vlookup functions, IF statements and
other complex excel operations - Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience in interpretation of data from multiple data sources and multiple data structures
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Good interpersonal skills
Physical and Sensory Requirements:
- Ability to read, write and converse in English
- Ability to speak and hear, to allow discussions with employees and peers
- Ability to remain calm and composed under stress
- Ability to evaluate and interpret information and make independent decisions
- Bending and lifting (5-10 lbs.), grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling
- Ability to understand and interpret financial data
