We are looking for a caring and committed self starter to provide support to individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities at our Berry Hill residence located in Richford, VT. The Berry Hill program supports individuals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The needs of those served vary greatly, and we strive to support any individual in developmental services no matter their level of care, when possible.
The Berry Hill program promotes healthy living in a relaxed environment that supports guests with their goals for independence and improved living. The Berry Hill program aids in sustaining home placements for those we serve by providing an opportunity for family and residential support to take a break from their 24 hour per day roles in the guest’s lives. Staff usually work solo with one or two guests and have creative freedom to ensure the individual within the home enjoys their stay. Staff are supported 24/7 by the Team Leader and the Assistant House Manager to respond to emergent situations.
Candidates will need to be comfortable with physical care and will need to be comfortable with providing medical special care procedures for our guests. At NCSS, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes perks such as medical and dental coverage, an employer-matched retirement plan, and educational support. We invite you to become a valued member of our team at NCSS, a 2023 Best Places to Work in Vermont!
