Join Northwestern Mutual South Florida Group as a Recruiter, where you will lead recruitment efforts for our Naples firm. This role involves executing office recruiting plans to achieve activity and full-time contract goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing & Selection:
- Build and nurture effective referral sources with Financial Representatives, Advisors, and staff.
- Develop productive centers of influence (COIs) and qualified lead strategies from diverse sources, such as referrals, COIs, advertising, career fairs, and social media.
- Actively engage in community clubs and organizations to promote and brand Northwestern Mutual.
- Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies, including ads, direct mail campaigns, and community events.
- Foster relationships with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to share leads and best practices.
- Manage the selection process, including screening Financial Representative candidates, conducting initial interviews, administering selection tools, and guiding candidates through the selection process.
- Post Financial Representative openings on job boards and source candidates via LinkedIn and ZipRecruiter.
- Review resumes and schedule initial interviews.
- Communicate effectively with candidates.
2. Accountability, Tracking, and Analysis:
- Report weekly recruiting activity to the leadership team.
- Develop proficiency in home office-supported software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records, ensuring selection process efficiency.
- Assist in coordinating leadership team meetings and preparing activity/results reports.
- Analyze recruiting ratios to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- May oversee contract and licensing responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven ability to work professionally as a team member and interact with individuals at all levels.
- Experience with prospecting and generating leads via phone or face-to-face interactions preferred.
- Strong personal network and/or community involvement to leverage for recruiting purposes.
