Location: Madison Heights, MI (Hybrid) Job SummaryNorthwood is seeking an IT Support Technician to assist with day-to-day technology support for office staff. This role focuses on basic help desk support, workstation setup, and routine IT tasks. It is a hands-on support position, not a systems, network, or engineering role. ResponsibilitiesAssist employees with common computer, login, and software issuesSet up and maintain desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other equipmentInstall standard software and perform routine updates on Windows computersReset passwords and assist with basic Microsoft 365 issues (email, Outlook, OneDrive)Create and update IT support ticketsEscalate issues beyond basic support to senior IT staffFollow company IT and security procedures QualificationsBasic IT, help desk, or technical support experience preferredComfortable working with Windows computers and office equipmentFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 is helpfulReliable, organized, and able to follow established processesStrong customer service and communication skills Pay & ScheduleStarting hourly rate: $18 - $21/hour, based on experienceFull-time preferred; part-time candidates will be consideredMonday - Friday, day shiftHybrid schedule: on-site at least 3 days per week when working NotesThis position is well-suited for candidates interested in hands-on IT support in a structured environment.
