Responsibilities
The Prevention Outreach Coordinator provides administrative and medical assistant support to the mobile prevention center and mobile primary care. Coordinates and oversees functions to maintain medical records and support billing, as well as accurate data entry required for reporting. Assist providers in role of Medical assistant. Individual must travel to screening locations and work some weekends and evenings. This person will participate in community outreach events. Flexibility and adaptability are key attributes to this role.
Qualifications
Required:
- One year in a healthcare setting
Desired:
- One year in health education, community outreach, marketing, or community relations
- Certified Medical Assistant, one year working as a Medical Assistant, or graduate of a medical assistant program
- ability to speak Spanish.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Medical Assistant
